I have finished Oceania, she has so dominated my life, I have thought and dreamt of little else. But what a journey.. a few steps back but learnt lots. She was the patteren from Patti's Creative cloth doll beading book, but what challenged me the most was making her stand and her shoes!

It is a shame that her legs are covered in the end.. as that was fun and I was pleased with the result.

My husband couldn't understand why I had to paint the staff before beading.. but that was because I wanted holes!!!

I tied her hair up to get it out of the way and thats the way it stayed.. funny how that happens!

This is it my first blog.. But I am keen to share my crafts, my endeavours.

Just finished the amazing course with Patti Culea. Came home all ready to do all the doll projects I have wanted to do for some time now. This was the idea of course. Why I went to this course in the first place.

Patti didn't let me down, she empowered me as a doll maker.. to not be afriad and just try doing it myself.. so here is Aerin, of the Hurin Elves and thank you for taking me on this journey Patti.
